Gower College’s links to Elite Group
The partnership between Gower College and Elite Group continues to go from strength to strength.
We have worked closely together to launch the first nationally recognized qualification for the aerial industry – the Electrical Electronics Progression Award 6958 and Digital Aerials 2218.
Since then Elite Group has supported the qualification by sending engineers to train at Gower College with a remarkable 100% success rate.
Elite Group has also supported our students by offering work placement opportunities and has taken on six graduates from Gower College on a full time basis.
In turn, Gower College has introduced Elite Group to the Joint Intervention Project (JIVE which is a national partnership led by the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science Engineering and Technology.
Elite Group and Gower College will continue to work together to ensure that the training the college delivers matches the requirements of an ever-evolving industry.
